150 words on a project (fluid form)

Category: By angela taylor112
This was my last project for DESN101 first trimester. I crafted this model out of polycarbonate plastic and black card, and fused it together with double sided tape.

The folds in my fluid form are sharp, sleek, and are pleasent on the eye. The main elements of my form balance each other out. I created it this particular way so that when the viewer looks at my form they can see the depth in the curves and also the sharpness in the tail. The comments i recieved from viewers about my fluid form was that when you first glanced at it it looks clean, simple and was aesthetically pleasing to look at, but when they looked up close and into the curves of my form there is more depth and complexity.

The folding and experimenting with the polycarbonate was really fun to work with, and with the plastic being really flexible it made my project alot more interesting, that is why i chose this project.

Your model has a fascinating form which reminds me of waves in the ocean. A really unique idea to use polycarbonate which proves to have been the perfect choice!
